what is RAPTThe value provided by RAPT is in providing an offering that recognizes the importance of having a diverse, experienced, educated and certified trainers in place to deliver a comprehensive program.  However, just having a qualified and energetic team of motivated trainers is not enough.  Our team will rise above your expectations as we work closely together using all of our areas of expertise to develop and monitor the appropriate program for each member that trusts us with their training.
Our training whether one on one, in a small or large group will be custom designed to meet your needs and goals.  We distinguish ourselves by tracking, measuring and guiding the progress of each member by making their goals, our goals. We will maintain a detailed record of training activity with us and also of any athletic activity outside of our program to assist us in continuous improvement of your program.
Here at RAPT we are not just another gym; our success is measured by our members success.

 

 

Athlete Development

Before beginning a program at RAPT, athletes will be given a functional movement screening.  This assessment as part of the intake process will assist us in understanding current strength and flexibility while identifying areas for improvement and development.

After the assessment RAPT will create custom programs based on the needs and goals of the athlete as well as assist in execution and complement their strength and conditioning programs provided by coaches. Programs will be based on a standard periodization model: in season, post season, off season, and preseason.  Athletes will complete their personal workout individually or in a group setting under the supervision of RAPT trainers.
RAPT provides leading edge strength and conditioning programs for athletes at our facility.  From speed development, to strength training, mobility, flexibility and agility, our staff provides up and coming athletes with the guidance and support they need to increase their ability to compete at the highest level. Our goal is to educate while training so athletes can provide beneficial feedback that invests in the overall training experience. We hope to not only help our athletes grow and develop but to also thrive and enjoy the journey.

Team Training:
Whole teams or groups of athletes can sign up for a classes geared towards sport specific training. These classes are great for building team chemistry in an off the field environment. Class structure will be based on developing skills specific to the teams sport as well as general fitness. These workouts will incorporate appropriate movement and can include equipment specific to the sport being trained such as a stick, ball, etc.

RAPT Kids

For younger children, we use a variety of different games and dynamic exercises to assist the kids in developing coordination and motor skills through self-experimentation.

RAPT offers a new American Ninja Warrior course and rock climbing wall letting kids come feed their inner Ninja! These concepts of agility, strength, and focus help to develop kid’s motor skills and feed their imagination. With a creative use of energy these movements will carry over into any athletics they participate in. In the end the main objective is fun!

Adult Training

All adult members will participate in a pre-exercise functional movement screening. This assessment as part of the intake process will assist us in understanding current strength and flexibility while identifying areas for improvement and development.

Members will have their own training session customized to their goals with up to three others. This can include general strength and fitness goals or sport specific activity. RAPT adult training (RAPTletes) consists of high intensity resistance training that challenges different muscle groups in your body. The workouts involve all aspects of fitness: aerobic and anaerobic exercise, muscular strength and endurance, power, mobility, flexibility, and injury prevention. All levels of ability are catered to by modifying exercises to the individual’s capabilities and needs. Adult training classes are focused towards weight loss and general fitness; workouts can be modified to an individual’s needs or goals. Every four weeks we start a new workout cycle. Each cycle has a direct focus (ex. Maximal strength, muscle building, fat loss, etc…) following a 4 week cycle
Private and semi-private personal training is available to members of all ages. All members will work directly with a trainer for one hour. A customized program based on the individuals needs and goals will be administered.   This program also can be structured to include take home workouts, recovery workouts, and other lifestyle challenges.  With small group training (semi-private) you get all the same benefits of private training.
