RAPT is going to offer athletes that are interested to join the RAPT Barbell Club. The Barbell Club incorporates Olympic weight lifting and allows athletes to participate in open weightlifting meets.

Weightlifting meets are divided into male and female competitions as well as weight classes. Each individual has three attempts at the Clean & Jerk, and Snatch to hit their heaviest weights.

Olympic lifting is directly related to an athlete’s explosiveness, power, neuromuscular coordination, and core stability. Coach Josh Jackson is an experienced weightlifter and has performed at the competitive level.
