Here at RAPT nutrition is just as or more important than the workouts we do. You can’t out-exercise a bad diet.

Think of the body as a machine, like a car. Your car won’t run well if you fill it with the wrong fuel or if there isn’t enough fuel, right? The human body works in the same fashion; we just require a more complex fuel for a more complex machine. It doesn’t matter if you are a young child, high school or college athlete, or an adult trying to lose weight; what we eat, when we eat, and how much we eat means the difference between scoring that basket at the final buzzer, finishing second in a race instead of first, or gaining weight instead of losing.
The “what, when and how” of eating is dependent on the individual. If you are an endurance athlete you will fuel your body differently than a body builder, if you are trying to lose weight you will fuel differently than a college athlete. At RAPT we cater to all body types and consider every individual that enters our facility an “athlete”. Our staff is knowledgeable in all realms of exercise and we gain this knowledge not only from studying and keeping up with current nutritional guidelines but also by maintaining closely related goals to our athletes. We are weight lifting competitors, endurance athletes, and everyday people trying to stay fit and healthy.
RAPT trainers have pulled together some of their tried and true nutrition techniques on this page that when matched with exercise will help ensure success for all kinds of athletes.
